Since joining Aurora, David Pineda has performed numerous engineering tasks, including: route alignment studies, development of project phasing plans, plan and detail design, cost estimate development, QA/QC review, constructability reviews, construction phase services and construction management. Mr. Pineda’s projects include water mains ranging from 16” to 108” in diameter, including the on-going On-Call Large Diameter Waterline (LDWL) Engineering Support for the City of Houston.
As part of the On-Call LDWL Support project, Mr. Pineda led the development of work orders to assist the City of Houston Drinking Water Operations group to operate, maintain and improve drinking water transmission infrastructure. Mr. Pineda has also provided support in evaluating and assessing the existing large diameter WL infrastructure and other related appurtenance issues under Work Order basis. Mr. Pineda has also been involved in conditional assessment studies, implementing Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) technologies and evaluating of testing results.
