Aurora participated in the 2024 UESI Pipelines Conference in Calgary, Canada. Project Lead, John Rush, EIT, presented on “A Route Study to Reduce Expenses and Reduce Groundwater Usage,” focusing on the North Harris County Regional Water Authority’s efforts to minimize subsidence by reducing groundwater usage in the northeast Houston area. As Program Manager, Aurora is overseeing the conversion of 23 water plants to Water Receiving Facilities (WRFs) and the installation of over 40 miles of waterline. The presentation highlighted the strategies to reduce project costs while addressing challenges.
